Privacy Policy

1. The short version

No accounts, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no ads, no selling data. We are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023: we collect only what the product needs, use it only for the purpose you gave it (purpose limitation), and collect nothing more (data minimization). Your consent is collected when you submit a form or click "pay" — each form says what it's for and links back here.

2. What we collect

  • Anonymous device id. A random identifier stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we can enforce free-demo limits and remember your paid plan on this device. It contains no personal information and cannot identify you.
  • Plan & usage data. Your plan tier, allowances used, and daily counters — needed to deliver what you paid for ("allowances never expire").
  • Content you provide. Resume text, job descriptions, offer-letter text, self-appraisal notes, and contact details you type into the tools, processed only to generate your outputs. We do not use this content to train models. Resume drafts you type in the free demo are saved in your browser only, until you run a tool.
  • Support & feedback messages. Anything you send through the chat widget or feedback form, including the name/contact details you choose to leave so we can reply. These are forwarded to our WhatsApp so we can respond quickly.
  • Payment records. Order ids and payment status from Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details — those go directly to Razorpay.
  • Waitlist email. Only if you join the interview-practice waitlist; used solely to notify you when it opens.

3. What we don't do

We don't run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site, we don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with anyone except the processors needed to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Razorpay (payments), and Google (Gemini AI, which generates your outputs). These processors may handle your data on servers outside India — cross-border transfers that are currently permitted under the DPDP Act. We remain responsible for your data and require our processors to protect it. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of third-party code that loads in your browser.

4. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)

You have the right to know what we hold about you, correct it, and ask for its deletion. You can clear your device id at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser (note: this also resets your free-demo limits and disconnects a paid plan from that browser — write to us if that happens after a purchase). To request a copy or deletion of your support messages, feedback, or waitlist email, write to ryzumeai@gmail.com — that address is also our grievance contact. We will respond and act on valid requests within a reasonable time. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us — we will stop processing your data and delete it, except where the law requires us to keep records. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Data retention

Usage counters and plan records are kept as long as needed to honour "allowances never expire". Support and feedback messages are kept for a reasonable period to handle follow-ups, then deleted. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist ends.

6. Children's data

Ryzume AI is a career product for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18; if you believe a child has submitted data, write to us and we will delete it.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production data is restricted and least-privilege. In the event of a personal-data breach we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
